Douglas is an avid sports fan who also enjoys travel, reading, and watching films. He has always had an interest in historic buildings. Douglas is currently studying for his AIA license in Florida. He has his Master of Architecture from the University of South Florida School of Architecture and Community Design. Douglas also has a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Cable from Penn State University.

Susan Szalla is a special guest host of Aspire. She has a life long love of the arts. She also enjoys travel, reading history and listening to music. Susan has been in the construction industry since 1992 with a special emphasis in preconstruction cost estimating. She has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Susan has also recently achieved her LEED AP through the USGBC.
